The Views is a mixed-use, mixed-income residential development just half a block away from the Clarendon Metro station. It is touted as “a significant step in addressing Arlington, VA’s affordable housing shortage.

The project, which is being constructed on a property formerly owned by the First Baptist Church of Clarendon, will consist of two condominiums. One will consist of the former church steeple and first two floors of a 10-story building that will serve as a church sanctuary. Another condominium will consist of an underground parking and the third through tenth floor of a 10-story building. Project developers guarantee that seventy of the residential units are at an affordable rate, 60% of area median income or 60 years.

Future residents of the Views will likely benefit from eco-friendly features and products including Energy Star appliances, low VOC paints, Green Label Plus carper and recycling centers.
