Plans for this 5.8 acre site, nicknamed Florida Rock, call for a mixed use development with three buildings located next to the new ballpark. The development will include 180 residential units (possibly condos), two office buildings with 600,00 square feet of space, a 325-room hotel, and 36,000 square feet of retail space. The development will include a 1,100 space underground parking garage and is located just a few blocks from the Navy Yard Metro station. About 40% of the site will be kept open and feature a riverfront walk, a bike path, and a landing dock for a potential water taxi. Designed by Davis Buckley Architects.
