Rising above an existing two-story building in the heart of Adams Morgan, are the lofts of King’s Creek Condominium.  Concrete block, corrugated metal, stucco and glass create an industrial language for the building and reinforce the variety of forms. Because of the ability to have windows only at the front and rear facades, the center mass of the building was carved out to bring natural light and outdoor living to each space of the 13 units. Open floor plans and walls of glass blur the line between indoor and outdoor living. Private spaces are created by moving around utilitarian objects, eliminating the need for additional walls and doors.
