In what is one of the most beautiful sections of 14th Street, on a tree-lined quite street, rests a very nice 26-unit Condominium building known as The Tewkesbury (the corner of 14th and Tewkesbury NW).
16 of the 26 units are set aside as “Affordable.” which means the buyer must fit within certain income limits. Those limits are described in 3 categories: those whose income is less than 30% of the AMI (area median income = $103,500), those less than 60%, and those less than 80%. The specific units pertaining to these prices are suitable priced under the market rate units.
PGN Architects is currently working on the design but intend to include a “community room, roof deck, energy efficient windows, and outdoor space.”
i was present saryrday afternoon viewing the condominiums, and i hope the price is worth it , just checkig out the living room area and kitchen space there should be a breakfast bar there to seperate the two, becuse it would make it look more sectioned off as if each rom has it’s own room. the two bed room is not that spacey also i view the two bed room and the ceiling looks like it was a rush job it was kind of bubbled in the ceiling. the condominium to me look kikes it is more for single individuals it should be made for both family and single individuals. i am very interetsed in purchasing but more has to be made for the living side.
Units
1 bedroom with office $219,900-$224,900 (2 available)
2 bedroom with library, office, roof deck & much more $399,900
Secure, Gated Parking Available
