Yards
Originally part of Washington Navy Yard, this 42-acre, mixed-use development will include 2,800 residential units, 1.8 million square feet of office space, and 300K square feet of retail space. Nearby will be the new Nationals baseball team’s stadium designed by HOK. The Yards development, formerly known as the Southeast Federal Center, will include a riverfront, promenade, and marina. Plans call for an estimated 1,600 “for-sale” units and another 1,200 apartments.
In Phase 1, plans include converting the Broadside Mount Shop into a 271-unit condominium building by the summer of 2010. It appears that PN Hoffman will be the building or sales agent for the condo building.
