In 1981, Mark G. Griffin established the firm, which now represents a diverse, entrepreneurial, international and domestic clientele.

Mark Griffin has extensive experience in transactional law, with particular emphasis on real estate, estate planning and probate, and business law and formation.

Born in 1947 in Port Chester, New York, Mr. Griffin spent the formative years of his life in Birmingham, Alabama. Mr. Griffin attended Georgetown University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. He continued his education at Georgetown University Law School where he received his Juris Doctor. He is admitted to practice before the courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mr. Griffin practiced with the firm of Lambert & Griffin and predecessor Lambert firms from 1973 to 1981 where he developed his interest in commercial real estate transactions. From 1976 to 1979, Mr. Griffin was a member of the District of Columbia Real Estate Commission. He was also General Counsel to, and thereafter President of, the Washington Historical Society from 1980 to 1988. He was a member of the Georgetown University Board of Regents from 1989 to 1994. Mr. Griffin has extensive experience in transactional law, with particular emphasis on real estate, estate planning and probate, and business law.
